The specification team at CTD Housebuilders recently had the pleasure of working with a leading Yorkshire house builder on a large development of 39 three-storey homes in Huddersfield. The project included a range of three to five-bedroom homes with a mix of open-plan and traditional closed layouts.
Our house builder partner sought a contemporary style which was sophisticated and warm; ideal for impressing growing families looking for a new modern home. The specification team rose to the challenge and supplied tiles from the GEMINI
Rock and
Cliveden collections which were impressively utilised in the site’s show home.
The bathroom was wonderfully styled with Rock Grey wall and floor tiles for a stone-effect look which adds realistic natural shades and detail to the space. The Concept Grey décor tiles were utilised in the bathing area creating a 3D flowing texture which draws your eye across the wall and emphasises space.
In the master bedroom ensuite the Cliveden Grey tile was used throughout, with its soft shades and fine detail continuing the theme of natural stone materials. The shower enclosure was fitted with the delicate hexagonal 3D pattern of the Concept Grey tile to add texture to the space.
The Rock Grey porcelain floor tiles were used to great effect in the kitchen-diner, where the neutral contemporary look of the tiles perfectly complemented the deep shades of the furniture and accessories.
The hallway was also adorned with the Rock Grey floor tiles, flowing seamlessly across the entrance area of the property. The shading of the tiles helped keep the space bright and welcoming, especially when contrasted with the wall décor. The high floor grade of the tiles also made them particularly suitable for an area with such heavy foot traffic.
