If you love a pared back look – then your tiling will play a huge role in creating a fuss-free look. When it comes to your tiling choices, why not go for a tonal colour pallet? Start by choosing a single colour for your kitchen design, then colour match your wall tiles to your floor tiles.
Tonal doesn’t mean boring! You can still have fun with this look by laying geometric patterned floor tile which will add visual interest to your kitchen. But keep it simple with metro style wall tiles. Choosing tonal tiling works particularly well in small kitchens where visually you want the space to look sleek and paired back!
STYLE TIP: Choose units in the same colour as you counter surfaces for a seamless look and keep clutter at bay with integrated appliances. Think clutter free surfaces, flush fronted units, cool and calm colour schemes, and lots of smart storage.

One way to add personality to your kitchen is with colour! And what better way to do so than by decorating your kitchen with contrasting colourful tiles. If you want a bolder look, go for striking colours combinations like hot pink and navy, or mustard and orange.
